| When you first open up your software, the screen will look similar to
this. Notice that only the [T] icon on the alphabetic sidebar is
active. To start any new project, you will need to either click on the
[T] icon or type T on your keyboard. It is your choice. You may also change default settings while at a blank screen. Font, size, position and more can all be customized to your requirements. |

| When you click on [T], a text menu comes up. You have the option to begin typing. Type "TEST." |

| Notice that all icons are now active. The word "TEST" is at bottom left hand of the screen. |

| To output the job to your device, just click on "Output." The Output menu comes up. Click "Output Lines." |
